Services
As a one man, full-time shop, every saddle on my workbench is hand selected, candle checked, undergoes my inspection process, and is made to order. Saddles are precision carved by hand, slightly over my established standards so there’s room for final fitting.
I know how important tone is to us and I strive to offer the best possible materials and craftsmanship I can. If there’s something outside of these services you’re interested in discussing, please reach out. I’m always up for a great conversation about guitars and tone.

Available to order now!
The tried, true, and least expensive option to upgrade your guitar to a natural material. Bone has been used in instruments for thousands of years and I strongly believe this legacy contributes to why the results are so pleasing to us.
I offer core bone saddles in bleached, unbleached, and vintage options. They are built slightly over spec to accommodate varying saddle slots and wood swelling/contracting. Every order will include installation instructions and a piece of PSA (adhesive backed) sandpaper for final fitting.

Have a special instrument which already plays perfectly but want to upgrade the saddle material? How about a second saddle for seasonal changes? A unique instrument with an unconventional saddle shape? Awesome - let’s make one!
I prioritize repro saddles with a typical 72 hr. turnaround period because I don’t like to be without a playable instrument and I’m sure you don’t either. They are still slightly oversized for final fitting, but to a smaller tolerance than my standard saddles.
Contact me to discuss the details and shipping address. When shipping, I recommend a size #0 Kraft padded style envelope. PLEASE DO NOT use a standard paper envelope! Those risk being damaged in the sorter and I want to ensure your saddles arrives safely.

Picks will also be available very soon! Bone picks are interesting. I’d never used one until Colosi put one in my hand. They have a distinct bright attack especially suited for a lighter touch or heck, dig into a bass and get that punchy jangly tone happening. Being so dense, they hold up well. I’m making one for a friend of mine who’s a bass player in an international touring death metal band that’ll be stained a dark oxblood color. More to come on that.
I’ve recently become a big fan of buffalo horn picks. The Triquetra pick featured on this page is my personal one I’ve been using for several months. If made too thin or with sharp edges, they’ll wear quickly but mine’s been used daily and shows nearly no signs of wear. They are particularly nice on nylon stringed instruments.
I’ll be posting more details and maybe even some comparison videos about these soon.
